Our Web Site is changing!
You may have noticed some changes here at www.oaktreedata.com over the
past few months. We are improving our Internet pages to give our
customers a better e-commerce experiance. We have added an
information guide
page, providing a one-stop catalog of the various pages we have written
to give customers a better understanding of photo ID cards and how they
are made.
We are also now providing a free
sample package
you can request that includes sample plastic photo ID badge and an
accessory catalog for
ID badge products. For new customers, this can give you an idea of the
kind of end product you have when you buy a new printer or system.
There are many other changes, large and small at the new oaktreedata.com.
They are all to make your Internet experiance here at Oak Tree more

partnership with that industry, we feel it is more important for our
company to concentrate on the business we know best, security products
for the business customer.
We will however continue to support our CD/DVD customers in the manner to
which they are accustomed.

ID Magic is retired
Oak Tree Data, Inc. began serving the badge and ID system industry in the mid
1990s. At that time we felt that none of the software offerings available
had the right features or had the maturity we desired. We chose to create
our own software package to fill the void. ID Magic has served hundreds of
customers well in the years since then.
As the industry has matured so has available badge and ID software
applications. As feature rich applications have become available and matured
the need for us to continue investing the development time necessary to keep
the ID Magic feature set on a par with them has declined.
For this reason we are ending the life of the ID Magic software product. We
will continue to support our customers who are still using it. However over
time our ability to support it will decline. We therefore urge you to
consider plans to upgrade to one of the software products we are offering.
To facilitate and encourage this transition we are offering our ID Magic
customers a trade-in for the new software. The trade-in amount will depend
upon which software package you replace it with. Please contact us and we
will be glad to provide a quote.
We are pleased to offer these high quality applications and will support them
just as diligently as we supported ID Magic.
