A Brief History
Founded in 1995, Oak Tree Data, Inc. has seen the growth of the business security
industry over the long haul. We have learned a lot along the way.
Our products are the culmination
of years of frustration with manual badge making systems; the
long printing lead-times, the hassle of cutting and pasting,
the cheap looking results and the anguish of film-based manipulation
and management. Growing out of
IMTS
Inc. (the Healthcare community's premier real time
time and attendance vendor), we gained loads of experience from
our constant need for badges to gather employee payroll time
from badge readers.
We spent years developing badge styles,
ordering the paper stock, selling film-based cameras, photo tape
and lamination holders, delivering laminators and bemoaning the
whole process time and again. We even built our our badge creation software
called "ID Magic" several years ago, before the marketplace began to offer
the full-featured software we now carry.
With our
IDs NOW Internet option,
every size group can make high quality
security badges for a lot less than it would cost to do them manually.
For larger volume badge printing needs, we offer several lines of
quality ID card printers.
Our latest additions to our line of products are
visitor managment solutions.
